Sam Arthur is an accredited Exercise Physiologist based in East Kew.
As an exercise physiologist, it is my privilege to work with people to assist them to use exercise to improve their quality of life.
I understand that standard gyms do not appeal to everyone, therefore I strive to create an environment where everyone is comfortable. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing someone’s confidence grow as they continue to meet their health and fitness goals. I believe that a healthy body and a healthy mind are a means to living the best possible life you can for yourself.
I prescribe and supervise clinical, evidence-based exercise using both progressive resistance and aerobic training to help people manage their health and achieve their life and fitness goals.
I have developed a special interest in assisting people with managing metabolic conditions such as metabolic syndrome, obesity and diabetes. This includes teaching my clients strategies that will help to ensure exercise becomes a regular part of their lifestyle.
I combine my previous experience as a personal trainer with the knowledge I gained whilst studying clinical exercise physiology to create a safe, motivating environment for people to exercise in.
Having worked with people from a variety of ages and fitness levels I understand that everyone is unique with their own goals, motivators and barriers to exercise. It is therefore my focus to work with people to tailor an exercise program that considers each individuals unique circumstances, empowering them to exercise regularly to live a healthier lifestyle.
